No - as the doors must always be equipped with security technology, they are always included in Ascendor's scope of delivery.
Can I get out onto the balcony or terrace?
In the standard version, exit is only possible between the guide rails at all upper stops. If the exit at the top is to be onto a balcony or terrace, then the guide rails should also be attached to this, if possible.
How much a lift for a private house cost?
The price for a private lift is influenced by the following aspects: installation outdoors or indoors, design with or without shaft frame, desired options, platform or 4-sided enclosed cabin. Therefore, ask for an inspection appointment to define the configuration that suits you best.
What is a home lift without a shaft and how does it work?
A home lift without a shaft is a space-saving lift that does not require any structural measures such as a shaft or machine room. It moves along rails that are attached to the wall and connects up to 5 floors quietly.

How much space is required for installation?
The Homelift only requires a minimum space of 1400x1533 mm.
How long does it take to install a Homelift without a shaft?
Installation is usually completed within a week, as no extensive structural work is required. The exact time frame depends on the specific conditions on site.
Is the Homelift safe to use?
Yes, the Homelift is equipped with several safety features, including obstacle detection sensors, contact tray under the cabin, emergency power supply, overload protection and door interlocks. It fulfils all relevant safety standards and regulations and has a type examination.
What maintenance is required for the Homelift?
The Homelift requires only minimal maintenance. However, regular inspections and maintenance should be carried out to ensure the safety and functionality of the lift. Ascendor is happy to offer you annual maintenance.
How is the Homelift operated?
The lift is operated via user-friendly call points located next to the access doors. One person can hold on to the innovative grab handle in the cabin and operate the travel command at the same time. No special knowledge is required. Operation is easy for both older people and people with disabilities.
How much weight can the Homelift carry?
The load capacity is 225 kg. The lift can easily transport one person in a wheelchair with or without a companion or three standing persons.
Can the Homelift be customised to match the style of my home?
Yes, the Homelift can be supplied in different designs, colours and materials to blend seamlessly into the existing look of your home. Customisation is possible to meet your specific aesthetic requirements.
How much minimum distance do I need from my neighbour if I install an Ascendor lift?
The QuattroPorte comes without a lift shaft and can therefore be built right up to the neighbour's property boundary. This opens up new possibilities and the lift can be built right up to the property boundary to save space. Regional legal differences must be taken into account.
